For my senior thesis at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, I created a children's book called Gus's Magic Blood Sugar. In this book about a boy with type one diabetes, we follow our main character, Gus, through the literal ups and downs of his school day. The purpose of this book is not only to represent people and children with type one, but to also educate others.
